Beachfront, pet/family friendly cabins with private hot tubs, Cottage Rentals in Sechelt, Sunshine Coast B.C.

Welcome to  Sechelt  and the HEART  and Cultural Center of  the Sunshine Coast.

A favorite rental since 1999! when the property and little cabins were energized for living… keeping them rustic, original, loveable, comfortable, peaceful and simple… and a private hot tub at each with no other guests to share with. Private beach to wander or reflect.

Especially for nature lovers all year around. Hundreds of repeats  and referrals over the years, that  want to feel they are on the Coast and shoreline.

Licensed and inspected by the District of Sechelt since 1999.

The original Sunshine Coast!

An  authentic, peaceful,  old,  private Sunshine Coast waterfront treed property.  Two cabins with separate hot tubs.  Large treed 1.25 acres around you with bird songs, eagles and maybe a chattering squirrel.  Your idyllic little rustic,  beachfront  hide away not visible to each other on the property.  Trails End cottages are minutes  by car to Sechelt town center or Davis Bay’s old pier,  promenade, huge sandbar for the kids and fishing and jumping off the old, restored pier.

Wandering the waterfront shore in any weather is exhilarating.  Being self catered,  both have full kitchens, bedding and towels.  Small families and couples find it ideal, as will your pet.  Rocky/pebbly beach with good swimming  at any tide. Bring reef walkers to protect your feet. An easy getaway for the week-end or  longer for a  waterfront holiday with mates, family,  friends or alone, for some peace,  romance, recreation, retreat, whatever,  and restore all year round.  Simply check my Availability calendar on-line or give me a call for last minute rates if openings.  Firepit or beach fires when by-laws in effect.  Pet friendly accommodations provide a lovely, relaxed atmosphere away from the bustle of city living.

Now offering 3  calm weather kayaks (one for childrenish) 🙂   Lifejackets supplied.

Just 20 minutes from the Langdale ferry terminal  and 1.5 hours from downtown Vancouver. Trail’s End self-catered pet friendly, waterfront cottage/cabins are centrally located on the coast and close to many of the Sunshine Coast’s activities: hiking,  fishing, world class scuba diving, kayaking, SUP paddle board, golfing, tennis, biking, horseback riding, canoeing, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing and much more… year round activities with several rental and/or guided activities.  Don’t forget the Visitors Info. center,  downtown Sechelt for maps, info and Aboriginal and Eco. tourism information..

Explore Provincial parks, old growth forests, local hiking trails, dog parks and trails, restaurants, cultural, arts, or musical event and festivals.  Kayaking in summer and snowshoe or cross country ski in the winter.  Many brochures are supplied for outdoor adventure or indoor activities on this Sunshine Coast playground.  This little space to unwind, relax and rejuvenate surrounded by trees on the ocean. Perhaps your sanctuary of rest and renew getaway.

Pick  fresh berries like salal, salmon, thimble, huckleberries, blackberries and raspberries all on the property when in season.

Resident bald eagles may screech and soar above and around you, as they fish in clear view.  Watch for seals popping up, particularly the local one, and identify many coast birds paddling by, or the local heron  in the shallows. A colony of sea lions nearby occasionally provides a few barking, basking or flipping small fish in the air when feeding. Otters also along the shore at times.

Trail’s End property  guests experience the best sunset panoramic S/W facing views of Georgia Strait, Trails Islands, Sechelt town waterfront, Welcome  pass  and  Vancouver Island in the distance. Endless starry skies above, being away from any lights. Cruise ships in the distance on their Alaska run in season.
