Dogwood Cottage
Enjoy this lovely old, rustic and comfy waterfront, view cottage. Beach access is a minute away down a set of stairs. It’s serene yard and private hot tub on a cedar deck provides a tranquil, healthy feeling as you absorb the Sunshine Coast as it was and still is at this property. The vast ocean and sky can be hypnotizing, calming or energizing at the same time with it’s many moods.
The old Dogwood Cottage contains a queen bedroom with an ocean view and a separate cozy double bedroom. The living room has a large comfy leather sectional with a pull-out queen and 2 recliners. Extra blankets and pillows are supplied for comfort.
Awesome sunsets or winters storms will mesmerize you. Maybe a squirrel will shatter or scurry by or a deer will wander through the yard. Bald eagles calling from a resident tree above is comforting. I’ve added an outdoor firepit in the yard to sit around, roast marshmallows or a maybe a hot dog.
Add some calming or energizing aromatherapy oil to your hot tub soak, available in the cottage. The small bathroom also includes a bathtub/ shower.
Snooze in the hammock during warm weather or cozy up to the warmth of the wood stove when it’s cool. Some firewood is supplied out back.
Full kitchen with all dishes, cookware, cutlery and small appliances is provided. Coffee filters (cone drip), spices, tea and sugar too.
Bedding and towels are also supplied for your comfort and convenience. Watch a movie, listen to music or rest with ease to the sound of nature alone.
